NewsShark 2.0 is an application created by Wmhsoft to enable you to download big files from Usenet on the internet. You can use NewsShark to download files in various formats including MP3, RAR and ZIP. NewsShark allows you to batch download large files from UseNet. You will be able to watch the progress of your downloads on NewsShark in percentage. You can stop the download of any Usenet file at anytime by clicking on the Stop button. You can also delete any file that you no longer want to download by clicking on the Delete button.
On top of NewShark application, it will display how much free space there are on your computer. There is a search box where you can use to search for Usenet files that are being queued on the download list. Prior to using NewsShark 2.0, you must first login into your Usenet account. You will be required to provide information such as News Server, port, as well as the Usenet account username and password.
NewsShark 2.0 gives you the ability to watch/kill the downloading process of the Usenet files. You can click on the Scan button to scan the Usenet file for malware before downloading. You can configure the destination folder where the NewsShark files will be downloaded. The Emergency Restart feature allows you to continue downloads that have been failed due to interruption in the internet connection without having to restart the application.
The partial file preview feature will play the first segment of the MP3 or MPEG file. In this way, you can decide for yourself whether you want to download the file. Most of the major encoding formats are supported in the application. The application runs fast and it has a modern and user friendly interface.
