K-Meleon 75.0 is a lightweight browser created with the Mozilla Gecko layout engine. The open source software is developed with the GNU General Public License. This version was released in the middle of 2015. K-Meleon browser offers basic features such as tabbed browsing, popup blocker, and keyboard shortcuts. It is a fast browser with a simple interface that supports a number of languages. You can completely customize the browser including menu, buttons on the toolbar, and accelerators.
You can customize the toolbar and menu by editing the text format configuration files which makes it not suitable for people without programming knowledge. There are three ways to customize the skin of the browser. You can create shortcuts for links so that you can instantly access the sites.
There are 4 mouse accelerators settings you can choose from. K-Meleon offers its own range of plugins and browser themes. Its plugins are called k-plugins. Some of the plugins of K-Meleon browser are IE favorites, session saver, and mouse gestures. It offers a macro plugin that allows people without C programming language skills to add more functionalities to the browser.
There is an option that allows you to translate the entire webpage into a language of your choice with two different online translators including Babel Fish Translation and Google Translate. The Error Console shows the error messages for errors that occur in the web browser. K-Meleon is suitable for old computers that are operating on Win32 OS. It works as a great alternative to Mozilla Firefox on older computer systems.
