Flock 2.5.6 is a social web browser created based on the same technology in Mozilla Firefox. The user interface in Flock is more colorful compared to Firefox. There are 3D icons on the user interface of the Flock browser. The main page of Flock features a Google search bar that you can use for searching on Google. It has a built-in feed reader that you can use in keeping up to date in various formats of RSS feeds including Atom, RSS, and Media RSS.
You can sync with up to 20 online services at a time. You can conveniently access online services such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube once you login into your Flock account. You can drag and drop anything you want to share with your friends. You can compose a new post for your blog or upload a new photo with Flock after logging in into the service.
The browser features a clean minimalist style interface. The social bar located on the right side shows the latest updates in Facebook and Twitter. You can close the social bar by with just a single click of the button. Flock makes it easy for you to manage your Twitter and Facebook accounts by providing functionalities such as update status, respond to tweets, compose a new post, and send direct message to the user. It has a Webkit mail component that allows you to check your email and compose new email without going to the Webmail site.
You can read the messages posted by other people on your Twitter and Facebook account and reply to them conveniently. The browser does not integrate chat function on Facebook and Twitter. The Flock browser can be customized to display the latest RSS feeds.
