Google Chrome 50 ends support for Windows XP and older versions of OS X. At the same time, it fixes 20 security vulnerabilities and offers some new features.
Google now book the 50th version of its web browser Chrome . Chrome 50.0.2661.75 is available on Windows, OS X and Linux.
On the menu, some new features, like the ability to preload resources within a web page and a redesign of the notifications. The display time of a web page and reliability of transfer notifications should be improved by these advanced.
This version also fixes 20 security flaws , none of which is classified criticism. Hackers can therefore use them to take control of the remote users machine. The update of the application must however be carried out without delay, as some of these vulnerabilities remain a significant level.
End of Windows XP
Chrome is now the market leader, with 56.4% of users worldwide, according to StatCounter. It could, however slightly lose ground in the coming weeks. Chrome 50 is actually more compatible with some older OS like Windows XP and OS X 10.6, 10.7 and 10.8.
