Adobe Reader 9.4.0 is an essential software that you need to install if you want to open PDF file and browse PDF webpages on the internet. In this version, you can now create PDF file at a web based service in the official Acrobat site. However, it only limits you to create 5 PDF documents. It is completely free for viewing PDF and you have to download the offline installer to get it installed on your computer.
The navigation for the pages in the PDF document is on the left sidebar. Adobe Reader 9.4.0 supports all the free features such as zoom in/out, auto scroll, clipboard, and hand tool. The user interface has changed and several new features have been added. Some of the new features added to Adobe Reader are digital signature and security options.
You can add notes and embed audio/video in the PDF. You can set the text size of the PDF document by entering the percentage in the toolbar on top. Adobe Reader 9.4.0 is able to open CAD files as well as map files. The Read Out Loud features allows you to use a speech engine read the text in the PDF document out aloud. The PDF document can be exported in Microsoft Word formats including .docx and .rtf. You can fill up forms in the PDF and send it in a way that it will be tracked. You can view more than one PDF documents at the same time in Adobe Reader 9.4.0.
